Dr. Budd Arnott is a third generation San Franciscan, and grew up on the San Francisco peninsula. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1976 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1980 from the University of California at Davis. He practiced in San Lorenzo for many years before settling in Danville in 1996. He has worked with several wildlife rescue groups and has a special interest in geriatric medicine. His wife, Anna Marie, another UC Davis grad, keeps the books for Oak Tree. She enjoys gardening and cooking. Their son, Nick is finishing up at UC San Diego majoring in international relations and anthropology and spending the summer in Peru assisting an archeological dig. Suzanne, their daughter is a junior at George Washingtion University in Washington, D.C. A biochemistry major and political science minor, she spent her spring break rebuilding Katrina – damaged homes in New Orleans. As empty nesters, Budd and Anna Marie share their home with their 3 dogs, Lola, Heidi and Maddie, their 2 cats, Maverick and Callie and a pond full of Koi.
