Once upon a time an inquisitive longhaired Dachshund named Corey was searching his home for a midnight snack. On the table was an open box of delicious chocolate treats. Corey thought he would sneak a few and that was where the trouble started?

Are you aware of how many foods and snacks can be deadly to your four legged friend? Most people know that chocolate can be harmful to your pets, but did you know that grapes and raisins can also be dangerous to your beloved pet? Gum and sweets containing xylitol can be deadly too. The following other items can harm your pet:

 

  • Human medications (Advil, Tylenol, prescription drugs, etc)
  • Rat and pest bait
  • Anti-freeze
  • Chocolate
  • Grapes and raisins
  • Alcohol Gum and sweets containing xylitol
  • Onions and onion powder
  • Avocados
  • Macadamia Nuts
  • Electicity
